Perhaps it would be utopian for someone to think that he could travel to the moon. However, it is totally realistic and feasible to travel to “Moonbeam”! The hotel “Moonbeam” is located in the north Aegean Sea,in the island Thasos. It is built on a mountainside overlooking the sea,right in our family olive farm.The view is simply overwhelming. The landscape is dotted with lovely olive and pine trees and one can marvel from afar at the dark blue Aegean sea and the peninsula Athos(The Holy Mount Athos). The area around the hotel is an agricultural land (15.000 m2) that is mainly cultivated with olive trees. The hotel is located close to the summer resort Peukari.Peukari is one of the most beautiful places of South Thasos that has fine restaurants and many options for sea sports.
In front of the hotel there is a swimming pool(a seperate one for children too),where you can swim or relax under the shade of the olive trees. In the immediate plans for the hotel is the cultivation of more plants and trees. And for those among you who seek alternative vacations, we can offer you the option to occupy yourselves with agricultural activities. The hotel “Moonbeam” is open all year to customers.
“Moonbeam” does not aspire to be just another business with the sole purpose of making money. We aspire that our establishment will become a “living organism” that will evolve,renew and expand. Always with respect to nature and human beings,we seek the new,we try out pioneering ideas and we wish to promote civilization,the arts and the sciences.
